Summary
Dillon Murphy is a valued member of the firm’s medical malpractice group, in which he defends hospitals, doctors, podiatrists, and other healthcare providers across Pennsylvania. He handles every aspect of complex medical malpractice litigation, including preparing and responding to pleadings, managing document review and written discovery, and preparing medical witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.
Prior to joining Hill Fenstermaker, Dillon gained extensive scientific and technical experience as a Research Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he supported biomedical research and pharmaceutical analysis under GMP and GLP standards. Before entering law school, Dillon became a registered U.S. Patent Agent and practiced independently, drafting patent applications and conducting prior art searches across a wide range of technologies.
During law school, Dillon served as a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He earned his Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law through the Accelerated JD (AJD) program, graduating in two years with Honors in the Intellectual Property Concentration. Dillon served on the Moot Court Board and earned First Place in the Northeast Region of the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition.

A native of Delaware County, Dillon grew up in Springfield and now resides in Havertown with his wife and their two sons.
