Tara A. Weitz, Esquire


Tara Weitz is a valued member of the firm’s medical malpractice group, in which she defends hospitals, doctors, podiatrists and other healthcare providers across Pennsylvania. She handles every aspect of complex medical malpractice litigation from start to finish, including preparing and responding to pleadings, assisting in document review and written discovery, and preparing medical witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. In addition to her role in state and federal trial court litigation, Tara has is a vital part of the firm’s team that handles Appellate practice.

About Tara

Prior to joining The Law Offices of John R. Hill and Associates, Tara served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter E. Warshaw, Presiding Judge in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division where she conducted research and legal analysis on various matters, including overseeing four criminal jury trials. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2022. During law school, she served as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s office, as well as a legal intern for JMershon Law. Tara also served as an active board member for a number of student organizations.


Tara received her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a minor in Accounting, from King’s College, which she attended while serving as captain of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams.


Tara is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
