Hill & Associates is pleased to announce that Attorney John Hill and Attorney Julisa Medina have successfully achieved a defense verdict following a week-long jury trial in Monroe County, PA. The Defendant, a podiatrist, allegedly committed a medical battery when he failed to obtain the patient's informed consent, resulting in catastrophic injuries to the patient. The jury rendered a verdict for the doctor.


This is John and Julisa's fifth trial victory of 2023!

The Law Offices of John R. Hill & Associates is pleased to announce that Attorney John Hill, Attorney Julisa Medina, and Attorney Neil Wenner have successfully achieved a defense verdict following a week-long jury trial in Lehigh County, PA. The Defendant, an ophthalmologist, allegedly was negligent while performing a cataract surgery, resulting in the permanent visual impairment of a 57-year-old patient. The jury rendered a verdict for the doctor, with a finding of no negligence.

The Law Offices of John R. Hill & Associates is pleased to announce that Attorney Tara Weitz is joining the firm. Tara will be working with the firm’s medical malpractice group, in which she will defend hospitals, doctors, podiatrists and other healthcare providers across Pennsylvania.


Prior to joining The Law Offices of John R. Hill and Associates, Tara served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter E. Warshaw, Presiding Judge in the New Jersey Superior Court, Criminal Division, where she conducted research and legal analysis on various matters, including overseeing four criminal jury trials. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2022. During law school, she served as a certified legal intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s office, as well as a legal intern for JMershon Law. Tara also served as an active board member for a number of student organizations.


Tara received her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a minor in Accounting, from King’s College, which she attended while serving as captain of the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams.


Tara is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
